Young Woman's Murder Revealed in Jaipur: A Harrowing Tale of Love Turned Sour
Police in Kotputli, near Jaipur, have uncovered a tragic murder case involving a young woman named Pooja Bavariya, whose body was discovered a week ago near an under-construction sports stadium. The prime suspect, Dilip Bawariya, has been apprehended along with his brother-in-law, Dholaram, on charges of murder.
Investigations revealed that Pooja Bavariya had been in a live-in relationship with Dilip for the past two years. However, tensions arose between them, leading Dilip to allegedly hatch a plan to eliminate her. Subsequently, he strangled her to death and, with the help of his brother-in-law, disposed of her body in a secluded area.
Pooja, unmarried, had been living with Dilip, who had been married twice before. Her disappearance was reported by her father, Manful Bawariya, prompting police involvement. Dilip was found to be missing from his residence, having also rented a room in the Housing Board area, which was found locked.
Dilip confessed during interrogation that Pooja's behavior, particularly her interference in his marital affairs and alleged mistreatment, led to his growing frustration. On May 11, he intoxicated her with alcohol and, when she was inebriated, strangled her with an electric wire.
Following the murder, Dilip sought assistance from his brother-in-law to dispose of Pooja's body. Together, they transported the body to a deserted location near the sports stadium and abandoned it there. The police discovered the body two days later, leading to the unraveling of the entire chain of events.
The tragic incident sheds light on the complexities and consequences of domestic relationships gone awry, underscoring the need for awareness and intervention in cases of domestic violence and abuse.
