The impending release of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and Class 12 board results has stirred anticipation among students. According to an announcement on the official website, cbseresults.nic.in, the CBSE Result 2024 is slated for release post May 20, with both Class 10th and 12th results scheduled to be unveiled simultaneously.
Around 39 lakh students who participated in the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams are eagerly awaiting their results.
Upon release, CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th results will be accessible through various platforms, including the board's official websites - cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbse.gov.in.
Students can also retrieve their CBSE Class 10 result 2024 via SMS by sending a text message with the format "CBSE10" to 7738299899. Similarly, for CBSE Class 12 result 2024, they should send an SMS in the format "CBSE12 (roll number) (date of birth in DDMMYYYY format) (school number) (Centre number)" to the same number. Subsequently, students will receive the necessary information regarding their results via SMS, though it's important to consider potential SMS charges, which may vary depending on the mobile network provider.
The CBSE Class 10th examinations were conducted between February 15 and March 13, 2024, while the Class 12th exams spanned from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Both exams were held in a single shift, running from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
To pass the Class 10 and 12 exams, students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks.
Prior to the announcement of Class 10 and 12 board results, CBSE has introduced a six-digit Access Code for students' DigiLocker accounts to enhance the security and privacy of their data stored in these accounts.
Furthermore, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has opted to discontinue the release of merit lists for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams in an effort to discourage unhealthy competition among students.
With over 39 lakh students eagerly awaiting CBSE results 2024, this academic milestone is anticipated by students from various countries, as the exams were undertaken by candidates from 26 different nations.
