Prime Minister Modi's Meaningful Visit to Gurdwara Patna Sahib

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Gurdwara Patna Sahib in Bihar showcased his participation in the tradition of serving langar. Donning an orange turban, he engaged with the Gurdwara management in preparing food and shared a touching moment with a young child.

This visit followed a vibrant roadshow in the state capital, where PM Modi was accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad. His schedule included addressing election rallies in support of NDA's Lok Sabha Election candidates in Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Saran.

Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, also called Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, holds historical significance as one of the five takhats of the Sikhs, located in the state capital. Maharaja Ranjit Singh initiated its construction in the 18th century to commemorate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh.

Bihar's 40 Lok Sabha seats hold significant sway in Indian politics. In the upcoming elections, BJP and JD(U) from the NDA alliance will contest 17 and 16 seats respectively. Meanwhile, the opposition Mahagathbandhan includes RJD, contesting 26 seats, Congress nine seats, and Left parties five seats.

Monday witnessed electoral contests in Darbhanga, Ujiarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai, and Munger Lok Sabha seats. Key candidates include Giriraj Singh (BJP), Lalit Kumar Yadav (RJD), and Gopal Jee Thakur (BJP).

In the 2019 elections, the BJP-led NDA secured a sweeping victory, winning 39 out of 40 seats, while Congress managed only one seat. Despite its strength, RJD failed to secure any seats.

The fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections covers 96 Parliamentary Constituencies across nine states and one Union Territory, beginning at 7 am on Monday.

Historic Roadshow in Patna: PM Modi Leads Electoral Fervor

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, led a historic roadshow in Patna ahead of the fourth phase of polling, marking the first such event by a PM in Bihar. The vibrant procession passed through key areas like Bhattacharya Road, Uma Cinema, and Thakurbari Road, drawing enthusiastic BJP supporters and locals. Notably, it's expected to impact the Patliputra constituency, where BJP's Ram Kripal Yadav contests against Misa Bharti. Accompanying them were BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary. Despite security measures, shops closed, but owners gathered to witness the event. The crowd cheered with slogans, photos, and videos as PM Modi's 2-km journey unfolded, with the Patna Sahib constituency bracing for a significant contest between BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad and Anshul Avijit. PM Modi's upcoming rallies in Hajipur, Saran, and Muzaffarpur further fuel the electoral momentum.
