Big Revelation in Jalandhar's Wadala Chowk Murder Case

Jalandhar: The recent breakthrough in the murder case at Wadala Chowk has revealed a significant international connection. The shooter who killed Gopa, a courier for an international drug racket, has been identified as being from the USA. Sonu Khatri, a known gangster and heroin dealer, has emerged as the primary orchestrator behind the crime. Khatri, who has been residing in the USA for almost a year, is actively involved in contract killings.

Authorities are now investigating whether individuals linked to the drug racket directly contacted Sonu Khatri to arrange Gopa's murder or if they approached the shooter, Baljeet Beata, directly.

Baljeet Beata, currently on a 5-day police remand, has not yet confirmed if he received any advance payment for the contract killing. However, he has admitted that the pistol used to shoot Gopa was given to him in Nawanshahr

According to police sources, the entire operation was coordinated by Sonu Khatri. It is believed that Khatri was hired by drug racket associates to eliminate Gopa, preventing his potential testimony. Khatri then assigned the task to his gang's sharpshooter, Baljeet Beata, a resident of Nawanshahr. The murder was meticulously planned and executed, with all communications handled through internet calls.

Baljeet has also confessed that the person who transported him on the back of the bike was linked to the drug racket, ensuring that the murder was carried out successfully. The police have identified both the bike driver and the individual who provided the pistol, and efforts are underway to apprehend them. Multiple raids are being conducted in various locations, and an arrest is anticipated soon. Although there are rumors that the bike driver has already been detained, official confirmation is pending.

In a related development, Sonu Khatri’s name had previously surfaced in another case involving the murder of a mother and daughter in Nangal Shama. The victims had filed a complaint in the USA, and it is alleged that their murders were orchestrated by Khatri, who was hired by the husband to kill his wife and mother-in-law.

This ongoing investigation continues to unravel the complex web of connections and criminal activities spanning international borders, highlighting the extensive reach and operations of the drug racket involved.
