A Weather Alert for Rajasthan: Brace for Rain and Thunderstorms in 26 Districts
Rajasthan is in for a weather shift, with the Meteorological Department forecasting a welcome respite from the scorching heat. Thanks to the influence of a western disturbance, the onset of the rainy season has been heralded in Marwar. However, along with the much-needed rain, there comes a cautionary note.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert, signaling the possibility of thunder, lightning, and gusty winds across several districts of the state on Sunday and Monday. Wind speeds are expected to reach 40 to 50 kilometers per hour during this period. The change in weather was evident on Saturday morning, with light showers and even hail reported in the vicinity of Lohawat and Denok.
Today, May 12, attention is particularly drawn to districts including Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Bikaner, Churu, and Hanumangarh, where strong winds, accompanied by thunder and lightning, are anticipated.
Tomorrow, May 13, a similar weather pattern is projected for districts including Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Barmer, Churu, Jalore, Jodhpur, Nagaur, and Pali.
The forecast also indicates that the temperature will remain relatively low for the next two days, offering respite from the sweltering conditions. However, come May 14, temperatures are expected to climb once again. Suryanagari experienced a drop in the minimum temperature to 27.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday, although the mercury rose steadily after 9 am, reaching 42.5 degrees Celsius in the afternoon, albeit slightly higher than the previous day.

विभाग के अनुसार, 13 मई, सोमवार को, अजमेर, अलवर, बांसवाड़ा, बारां, भरतपुर, भीलवाड़ा, बूंदी, चित्तौड़गढ़, दौसा, धौलपुर, डूंगरपुर, जयपुर, झालावाड़, झुंझुनू, करौली, कोटा, प्रतापगढ़, राजसमंद, सवाई माधोपुर, सीकर, सिरोही, तोंक, उदयपुर, बाड़मेर, चुरू, जालोर, जोधपुर, नागौर और पाली में बिजली और आंधी के साथ तेज हवाएं हो सकती हैं।मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, दो दिनों के लिए तापमान कम रहेगा और गरमी से राहत की संकेत मिल रही है। तापमान 14 मई से फिर से बढ़ने की संभावना है। सूर्यनगरी में न्यूनतम तापमान 27.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस पर शनिवार को गिरा, हालांकि ज्यादा तापमान दिन के 9 बजे के बाद तेजी से बढ़ा। दोपहर में तापमान 42.5 डिग्री सेल्सियस पर रिकॉर्ड किया गया, जो पिछले दिन की तुलना में थोड़ी बढ़ोतरी थी।
